Our Story So Far……

Sea of Flowers is Cromers long standing florist and has been situated on Mount Street for over 10 years. It was previously called ‘The Rose Garden’ and when I had the chance in 2020 to take over and continue this much-loved business, I decided to embrace our surroundings. We are literally one minute from the beach and this is why ‘Sea of Flowers’ was born.

My name is Jessica and you can’t get more local than me! I have grown up, worked, had children and still live in sunny Cromer, it is a privilege to serve my local community with my small team of fellow flower lovers.

My Floristry world began age 15yrs old when I decided to join a florist for my high school work experience, I then went on to study A levels and then Norwich University of Arts where I studied for my Degree in Photography. It wasn’t until I had my second child Ivy that I realised I needed to go back to my roots and signed up to floristry training at Easton College and worked at what was then ‘The Rose Garden’ until I was approached with the amazing opportunity to take over the business.

What do we believe in at ‘Sea of Flowers’? We love to use flowers that you are unlikely to find in your local supermarket or even in some other florists, we like to use seasonal where possible and in the British growing season we try to include local growers as well as flowers from Holland. We only create artful, naturally inspired and bohemian arrangements, with prettiness at the heart of all our creations.

We are conscious of the impact our industry has on the environment and prefer to use recyclable, compostable and reusable where possible and strive to find alternatives as our industry adapts to a more sustainable world. You won’t find excessive amounts cellophane, plastics or decorations, we believe that our flowers will do all the talking.

Our aim is to be a little hub of creatives and sustainable products, we are providing this by show casing other creatives work from candles to driftwood creations to terrariums and then with our Refill room dedicated to our household and personal care liquids to help stop the over use of plastic by either using our glass bottles or reusing your own bottles.

Thank you for taking your time in visiting our website and I hope we get to see you soon with flowers in our hands just for you.

Lots of Love Jessica x
